Further information
The Canyon de la Blache, located at the entrance to the Ubaye Valley, is a stunning series of sunlit waterfalls, fully south-facing.
This vertical canyon is the ideal route for learning to abseil independently.
The course consists of two parts: an easier upper section and a lower section with three more technical and impressive rappels.
The parking area is situated between the two parts, along with a small, playful water basin, allowing everyone to stop halfway if needed.
The Blache offers a different way to experience canyoning: a sunny, mountain-style route where I’ll teach you how to abseil autonomously.
Mastering abseiling opens the door to more challenging canyons—an essential skill if you want to progress in canyoning!
